What Guests Are Saying
Buckaloons campground offers a beautiful, clean, and spacious environment with large campsites and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors appreciate the friendly hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, with access to outdoor activities like canoeing and kayaking. Some minor issues, such as limited hot water in showers and a need for maintenance on picnic tables and fire pits, were noted, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return.

Large, shaded, level spots. 30 amp service needs updated but good enough for air and fans but not microwave. We cooked outside in a fire ring. Peaceful surroundings with showers, ice, firewood all of which is honor system pay. Dump site available but no drinking water. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again but will come better prepared. Water for nondrinking is available at several nonsite areas

It is a great park and we love staying there. We were in site 20 and the picnic table was in very poor condition.

First time at Buckaloons. It is not big rig friendly. However that is understandable because most of these places where built years ago when rvs was smaller. I booked site 5 with 50 amp service. The 50 amp was not working so plugged into the 30 amp till we could figure out about getting a different site. Camp host was out of the park at the time so I called the Warren park office so maybe they could send someone to fix it. After a while the host came back and speaking to them was really not much help. The would not call their boss to see about moving me to a double site that was unoccupied. They wanted to move me to another site that the 50 amp was not working. After she made the comment the 50 amp has not worked for some time now. I told them since you don’t want to call about moving me to the double site. I told them that I am just going to move to it since it was not reserved. But over all it was a nice stay. It’s posted that you can not swim or float in the river there. Probably will not go back.
