What Guests Are Saying
Buckaloons campground offers a beautiful, clean, and spacious environment with large campsites and well-maintained restrooms. Visitors appreciate the friendly hosts and the peaceful atmosphere, with access to outdoor activities like canoeing and kayaking. Some minor issues, such as limited hot water in showers and a need for maintenance on picnic tables and fire pits, were noted, but overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return.

We love this campground! The sites are huge, secluded and well kept. The bath facilities are modern and clean.

Very well maintained park, bathrooms were well kept. This campground gets a bit of road noise during the day due to it's proximity to a trucking company, but was quiet at night. Sites were isolated enough that you're not looking into each others windows. We have ATT wireless, and while we didn't have more than a bar or two, reception was great every day. Located right on the Allegheny River, so bring your boat.

Buckaloons is a fantastic little campground along the Allegheny River. I spend at least 12 - 24 days camping in the Buckaloons per year. One Negative comment I have is that the Campground host's are not addressing the dog owners who's dog's bark at times continuously. I find this very frustrating, when the barking dog's owners do not have enough sense or common curiously to stop dog's from over barking the campground hoists should! this is not being done and need to be addressed. The Warren / Kinzua area is full on family friendly opportunities to be hade on the cheap $$$. The Wilder Museum two minutes from Buckaloons is a must. The Pa. Lumber Museum is just a couple hours away. Then there is the great Allegheny River to be enjoyed. Don't forget to take in Rimrock / Jake's overlooks after a stop into The Dockside by the lake while your visiting the greater Kinzua area.

Out house were over full. No toilet paper for 4 days. No soap in the bath house to wash hands. Ice is not avaible past 5:00 pm. Have been coming to the Bucaloons for 20 years this was the worst trip ever.
