What Guests Are Saying
Dewdrop Campground offers a beautiful, well-maintained natural setting with spacious, private sites and excellent access to water activities. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. While some facilities, particularly the restrooms, could use updates, the peaceful atmosphere and scenic views make it a favored destination for many campers.

Not a bad site! was caught in a storm some limbs feel around the area and in the site. You have water line across the drive. bathrooms are a small walk from camp. you get some sun as it passes over from morning till dark. hit and miss with cell service I went to Jake's Rocks entrance. Ice and Firewood are sold at office as you pull into campgrounds.

This camp site Sucks! Only level area was where you parked your car (fits 2 - 2man tents or 1, 12man tent). The other issue we had is the two BIG dead trees overhang the camp. I was at camp site 23, 3 weeks ago got caught in a bad storm trees and limbs dropped seeing these two dead trees made me nerves. bathrooms are camp site or two away. The water line is by the parking spot both those good things. So walking from the car area (where one of us put a tent up due to only flat spot in camp) to picnic table area sucks its downhill and roots stick out, not paying attention you will get foot nabbed and faceplant to ground.

Site was clean. Level spot for the tent plus this specific site has a little shelter built into the picnic. No beach for swimming but you could wade into the lake a little bit to cool off.

We received an email that our site #34 was canceled for closure so we rebooked another site. In preparation before the week we left I checked and we saw that we never got our refund and we had two reserved sites. The original and the new one. After calling an being on hold forever, we only got a partial refund for the original site. When we got there our site were easily the worst sites on the campground. I would highly advise against site #37, this site should be closed. #39 is ok but not much better. Every other site there is that we scoped out was great/amazing. Other than that the shower facilities are ok and functional . Quiet hour and the noise was in check. We had fun and made the best of it, but it could of been a far better experience.

I had made reservations for site 14 in Feb and you canceled them for no reason in May. At that time there are not many sites open. I had hoped I would get at least a night or 2 for free for compensation. But no. just "It was a mistake" and you're out. Site 14 was not being used as a host site and I could have had it.
The other issue is site 14 and the other sites with electric - the $15 extra for electric is not discounted with my access pass. When the host said it cost $40 I figured it would be half price. The board says it is $24 +15 for hook ups. that is $39 not $40. I know that is only $1 difference but still!

Lovely place. The birds and other wildlife were a delight. There is no internet service but that was peaceful in its own way. A short drive allowed one important phone call. The shower area badly needs an upgrade. I did use it twice, but I am 74 and could really use a handicap bench for drying and dressing.
