We was told we get 2 car passes. Told them my daughter was coming so asked if they could have 2nd pass. They Said yes but when they arrived they made them pay. Same thing happened with another couple we were with. The host you had working (woman) was not very friendly. People would come in and nobody was at the checking booth so they came to our site and she coming running overtaking them drive back up to check in.

There for Solar Eclipse weekend. Checked in at 6pm on Sunday and they had 3 people working the both-all very nice and definitely in the spirit of the weekend. They even provided a huge patch of blue sky for totality-they were the best. Seriously, very nice area, spots are large, osprey nest right behind was a great extra.

Facilities were nice and clean. The campsite itself was a little muddy and we had to rearrange the firepit and picnic table; but nothing unexpected for April after lots of rain. We had 4 adults in 2 tents which was probably the maximum - if we had more adults/tents in the future I would book additional sites to make sure there's enough space/level ground. The lake was absolutely beautiful, the neighbors were all quiet and respectful of each other even though all the sites were reserved for the eclipse, and there were no bears. It was really cool to see people bow fishing in the reservoir at night. The campsite hosts were helpful and friendly. There's zero cell service, but it was a nice opportunity to unplug. We will be back!
