We had a wonderful time at Willow Bay! We stayed on a walk in site #99 and had a great time kayaking and relaxing for four days. The weather wasn't perfect, but we were able to manage. The site itself was ample space to have a large tent and a large pop up canopy along with room for chairs around the fire ring. The distance for walking in to the site is not too bad and there is unloading areas as well. All the sites by us (97, 95, 93) seemed to be just as good as #99 for space and water access. We love camping at ANF campsites and Willow bay has now been added to our return list!

All-in-all it was a very nice time. We were there during the week (NOT week-end) so it was quiet on the Aspen Loop. We enjoyed a nice, level walk around Marilla Lake, a few miles toward Bradford from Willow Bay.

Stayed in a cabin here for one night instead of a motel. Didn’t really come for camping, just a place to stay.
Cabin was good for that. Has electricity and a heater.
Pretty place to walk the dogs.
Nice to be out of cell service for a while. Plenty of open space for getting a satellite if you really must send a text.
