This is a small campground with lots of beautiful trees and great birdlife! The campsites are right next to each other, so it feels like an RV park, but we still had a lovely stay here and would happily stay here again if in the area.

Camp hosts do great job of cleaning fire rings, etc. Grass around the campground is cut in a timely fashion. Showers are clean and hot.

Great location with a lot of fun options to do that is close to the camp ground. Locust 28 was a very nice site location.

If you are going while it’s raining take some rubber shoes. The sites flood and water does not drain very well. We had to dig ditches to get the water out of our sites. There were quite a few sites that were flooded. We did stop rangers and complained to them and they brought more gravel in but that only solved the problem temporarily. They need to update alit of the sites with new drainage and gravel.

Lots of rain and high water release from dam made fishing difficult. No campground host and bathhouse needed to be cleaned more often. Campground needs more full hookups and maintenance on electrical system.

The sites were kept nice and neat. There had been a lot of rain, but they went and cleaned up the sites. They are all nice and level sites. Restroom were kept clean.

It’s a very nice small campground located right beside the river and the gap bicycle trail, making it great for bicyclist and fisherman and outdoor activities. The only improvement could be if there were more full hookups, as there are only a few and most are just electrical hook ups.

Since it rained most of the weekend, we experienced major puddles that could be corrected with a simple trench to the culvert which now lays higher than the lay of the land.
Other than that we always enjoy the outflow !

The sites are large and level. The restroom are kept clean. The shower house restroom doors need a little work.
