I like crooked creek. I would love crooked creek if they had a shower in the campground. Also, the sites are close together.

The ideas of no check in and check out was a little odd but seemed to go OK. Other than the main office there was no one around until the next day to present questions or concerns. The Ranger did come around the following day. Overall the campsite was clean and for the most part a pleasant stay

We had a problem with the campers next to us. We had 2 sites with RV’s next to these tent campers. They set their tents 10 feet away from the back of the one RV and complained about the noice from a generator, which was a quiet one that sounded like an conditioners. The generator had to stay on due to keeping my nephews insulin at the correct temperature. We spoke to a ranger prior to running it 24/7. And the ranger couldn’t even hear it at the front of the RV. But these tent campers woke us up and the 2 sites down in an RV at 12:30 at night cussing and swearing about the generator. We spoke to the rangers again about the episode and they asked the campers to leave. But before they left they left us a written note saying that we made their camping experience poor hell, and made comments about finding other ways we could of done about diabetic supplies, and telling us they hope we all die in the next week. We gave the rangers the note, and they told us they would take care of it. I think the whole thing could of been avoided if they only put the tents in a tent site, not an RV site. I believe from camping in many places that there is designated tent sites, and designated RV sites. I wish cooked creek would in force this, for this exact reason.
