Campsites are close and the fact that there are no water or electric hookups makes it uncomfortable for anyone besides tent campers, in that running a generator in these close quarters is obviously annoying to the tenters. Information from camp rangers that electric was in the planning was very welcome. The campground is relatively empty during the week days and my stay included a holiday weekend in which the campground was virtually full. The camp rangers were very friendly and accommodating as well as helpful concerning local amenities. The campground is well maintained, clean and modern, short of the fact that there are no E/W hookups all the other amenities are there, beautiful lake, hiking trails, playground as well as a disc golf course, local eating and shopping spots are close by.
