Usually make 3-4 trips a year to your campground. Met some very nice people and some new friends. Well maintained and taken care of.

We have been camping here since 1994. We enjoyed taking the kids and pets. We have never had to worry about the safety of our kids. And now our son and his family are camping with us. It is always relaxing to get away.

This place is a gem. Only 1 hr.20 min. From Pittsburgh. 90 percent of the people i ask if ever been there don’t even know about it.
Docking my boat there this summer to use for boating, fishing, and as our camper at the beautiful waterfront campsites.
Very clean restrooms, great staff in every department.
We were moving a picnic table a few feet and two rangers driving by stopped and helped us like it was there job!
I’m done driving 2 to 3 hrs to the mountains.

Site 51 has had ongoing electrical problems for years. We have camped here with our family and every year we have to have the park maintenance guys tinker with it. I had sent a letter last year after our week of camping to Shanango Campground, however, it was returned. The electric needs updated and the roads in the park need repaired.
