Our stay was great . My only recommendation would be to put electricity on all camp sights.

Site was nice looking over the water. Got to see some wildlife doing their thing. Including a skunk 🤯🦨 highlight of the trip.

Not bad, however sites are in much need of maintenance. They are uneven, have low spots in many areas, and me, being one with mobility issues find it difficult to walk around uneven surfaces. Some spots go low to high within a few feet.

Only the Old Duck Loop was open when we went but restrooms were very clean and most sites had a great lake view. We drove up to Pymatuning and into Sharon to visit Daffin's candy. Very nice time!

Wow! What great sites, right on the water. Beautiful sunsets at night! Showers were nice and hot with great water pressure!! Sites were a little close to each other but all in all a 5 star campground.

The campsite was in need of gravel and therefore it was very muddy. When we arrived, we tried to move to another site and although we were told by recreation.gov that other sites were available, those sites were taken by other campers. It was confusing and not helpful

The campground was clean and well kept. The upper half of the loop has electrical service, the bottom half, where we were, does not, which meant that people had generators going all day and all night. Some were loud enough that they could be heard inside our camper. This is just something to keep in mind if you choose to camp in the non-electric half of Old Duck loop.

First time at Shenango. Unfortunately picked site 221. Wind was relentless and, mixed with rain, produced chills that made my stay a constant challenge rather than a pleasant experience. Branches and acorns pummeled my trailer day and night. Sites within 50 yards were calm and warmer. May return but never to the same site.

Take Exit 4B (formerly Exit 1) off I-80 and follow Route 18 north about 6 miles until you cross the lake's causeway. The park is on the left, but this is a divided highway. Continue north about 1/4 mile, take the Birchwood Drive exit, make the turn-around and go south on Route 18. Before you cross the causeway again, make a right onto West Lake Road and travel approximately 1/4 mile to the park entrance on the left.
