Very nice. Campground areas are always well mowed. The park is always clean and it is pet friendly. It is great for kids to ride bikes and go to the playgrounds also walking with friends and family in the park. If you want to go kayaking, boating or fishing. Also good for those activities or just relaxing watching for wildlife and looking for bald eagles.. We have been coming to this park for several years. The only thing I hope in the near future is to upgrade on the restroom facilities.

We appreciated the helpful camp host. Site originally reserved, site 205, was very unlevel and not workable for our 37-foot motorhome. Yes, I had looked at the site description and satellite view and saw nothing concerning, but it just would not work without MANY boards, which was problematic for a winter stay due to having to move to dump periodically. After moving to site 195 all was well. The shower house had a working heater on the women's side, but not on the men's side. Dump station and water fill was available. We appreciated the open loop during a winter visit to family.

They had lots of open campgrounds while we were traveling through. I think it would have been cool to have a hammock in the trees to relax in and more kid friendly activities. The park ranger didn’t have or know where the kid ranger books and badges were.

Our stay was great . My only recommendation would be to put electricity on all camp sights.
