Shenango Rec Area Campground offers beautiful, well-maintained sites with stunning views and excellent facilities, including immaculate bathrooms and friendly staff. Shenango is a pleasant place. However, in the last part of the season, when a portion of the park is closed off in preparation for winter, no water is available save in the one open restroom. It would be very useful to have one tap available where one could refill an RV's water supply.

We stayed at Shenango Rec Area Campground on 10/19/2022. Arrived to an unmanned entry so proceeded to our site (002, GLOO). This loop is open year round. Our reason to changing from a Harvest Host site to this campground was the need to take showers. Unfortunately, I failed to realize that while the bathroom in this loop was open and had hot running water, there were no showers available.

Would definitely stay here again, but only when showers are open. We camped at Shenango Rec Area Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at Shenango Rec Area Campground on 10/19/2022. Arrived to an unmanned entry so proceeded to our site (002, GLOO). This loop is open year round. Our reason to changing from a Harvest Host site to this campground was the need to take showers. Unfortunately, I failed to realize that while the bathroom in this loop was open and had hot running water, there were no showers available.

Would definitely stay here again, but only when showers are open. We camped at Shenango Rec Area Campground in a Travel Trailer.
