By far the best camping experience we have had. Would love to go back. Very quiet and private access to lake. We still feel like sitting by that lake. Warm water and best for swimming and kayaking. Kids friendly, we had a 6 month boy and a 3 years girl. Both enjoyed a lot.

By far the best camping experience we have had. Would love to go back. Very quiet and private access to lake. We still feel like sitting by that lake. Warm water and best for swimming and kayaking. Kids friendly, we had a 6 month boy and a 3 years girl. Both enjoyed a lot.

Really georgeous lake. Camp sight left alot to desire. People running genys all night when curfew was 10 . Two close to the road had alot of traffic . And it really smelled like the outhouse when the wind blew. Had people walking thrue our camp by our gear made the experience less then peaceful. Would maby stay again but wouldn't use the sight we stayed at. Left 2 days earlier then planned was just two much...

We have camped at Tomkins for years. It is so nice to get away from cell service for 4 days. We tent camp, but enjoy the grounds come rain or shine. If you forget anything the town of Lawrenceville or Elkland are only 10 minutes away. There is a bakery in Elkland that is open Tuesday to Saturday (Shorts Bakery) fantastic bake goods.

We have camped at Tomkins for years. It is so nice to get away from cell service for 4 days. We tent camp, but enjoy the grounds come rain or shine. This place is awesome for family fun and very kid and pet friendly. The camp Host are great. How ever if you bring a watercraft beware the fishermen that like to fish around your watercraft. We had a hook in a seat last year and no one wanted to fess up to it. It's a real shame the money the campground brings in from the campers the rangers don't want to do anymore to stop the rude fisherman from fishing around thousands of dollars of water crafts. Otherwise the campground itself is great.

Didn’t plan ahead just decided to visit ended up with a non electric site the site was large sit at the table in the morning drinking coffee watching the boats go by it was a pleasant experience not elbow to elbow like the electric community after coming from Ives Run that morning it was a beautiful site and probably would go no electric again the dogs loved it and so did we

Take U.S. Highway 15 to the Lawrenceville/Route 49 exit. Go one mile east on Route 49 to Lawrenceville. At the traffic light turn left onto State Route 287. Cross the Cowanesque River Bridge at the edge of town and make an immediate left turn onto Bliss Road. Continue 5 miles to the campground entrance.
The campground is accessible via U.S. Highway 15 and State Route 287.

General
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- All reservations must be made on www.recreation.gov or by calling (877) 444-6777 prior to arrival. Reservations to include any reservation changes, such as cancel, refund requests, site transfer, or date changes cannot be made at facility location.
- Campers are limited to 3 camping units per site, 2 of which must be a tent or 3 tents in total. No more than 7 people per site or one family
