Tompkins Campground offers spacious, clean sites with friendly staff, making it a favorite for families and returning visitors. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful lake for paddling, and well-maintained bathrooms contribute to a positive experience. While some areas could benefit from upgrades, many campers appreciate the reasonable prices and the campground's recent extension into the fall season.

Clean, quiet and peaceful place. Plenty of shade trees to keep the camper cool and added a little privacy. Swimming within walking distance of the camping area.

Hike-in camp ground was beautiful. We were very happy as we started our fire and settled in for the night. There were however a gaggle of teens that stayed up drinking, playing music, and shining their light in our tent on their way to the bathroom all night (until after 2 am). We ended our trip 2 days early.
