We had a great spot overlooking the lake. We love camping here and look forward to coming back later this year.

Site 43 was right on the water and next to the boat dock. Nice spot for a weekday stay. Could probably see more traffic during the day but easy access to fishing. We would stay there again.

Always clean and quite, although having no cell service can be dangerous in an emergency.

Personally enjoyed the fact fact that there is NO cell signal at the campgrounds.

This is a very well maintained and clean campground. We stayed in site 72 in a 28 foot class C motorhome. The view of the lake is somewhat obscured by trees, but the shade gave us relief from the heat of the day. The proximity to services and groceries is good. We highly recommend this campground for those who are looking for a place to stay to visit the surrounding area.

Nice campground. Verizon cell service doesn’t work. That’s not enjoyable when trying to stay in touch with family

Tompkins is the best camp ground around our area! Wish they’d stay open for fall camping though. It’s a beautiful campground.

Fantastic campground! Excellent facilities, everything clean and great Camp Hosts! Two things to improve - the campsite waterfrontage needs more care in trimming (1) the grass areas, (2) overhanging trees and (3) the underbrush. It is overgrown in the areas of the campsites and probably is ready for a complete cut-back. Second, the white posts in front of each waterfront campsite should be marked with a campsite number - we found several campers were tying their small boats to the white posts of our campsites. We reserve these sites so we can enjoy that amenity. For those without a waterfront site, the cam[ground has a marina in the camp loop that can be used for NO COST. This is something I would like to see enforced. Overall it is the best campground that our group visits and we come back every year for extended stays.

Such a nice place and volunteers are always willing to help you and they go out of there way just to make the campers feel welcome and right at home
