Vacationland Campground continues to be one of our favorite places to stay! The campground is always clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of activities for families throughout the season.
The best upgrade they have made, in my opinion, is the new arcade. It has become a huge attraction for both kids and adults, with a great mix of classic arcade games, redemption games, and family-friendly entertainment. It's obvious a lot of effort has gone into making it a fun place for everyone, and it gives campers something exciting to do even on rainy days.

I will start by saying I love Vacation Land Campground and will continue to go there. Everyone I talk with in the office or on site are very nice and friendly. My first visit was in the 1980's and I have been going there ever since. When there I fish the stump fields and also take in some ground hog hunting on a few of the farms of whom I have befriended the owners. This is part of what keeps me coming back. But my disappointments, causing a rating of 3 stars, comes from part of the infrastructure of the campground. The roads inside the grounds are terrible where I have to pull my trailer. The entrance in front of the gate has a large hole that can not be missed when approaching the gate. Once through the gate the main road has only a few potholes. I usually camp past but near the bathroom/shower building and making ALL turns to find my site has holes on the road as well as on each corner turn. Once reaching the sites the grass growing in the gravel pads is easily noticeable. This was never seen in the past. The sites themselves are big enough and the grass is usually in good shape. I use the bathrooms frequently and in the past 3 years one of the flushers in the toilet needs to be hand flushed even though it is designed to be battery operated. The showers themselves are nice with a good supply of hot water. Although my wife complains that two sinks in her bathroom are not working. Upon leaving the campground with my trailer the roads continue to plague me. The only side road that I can use to get my trailer to the gate Is riddled with potholes. Anything you had in place in your cabinets are not in place anymore after riding on that road. And again right in front of the gate is a pothole that you can not avoid with your trailer.
My stay this time was from Memorial Day to the following Friday. When I got there on Monday there was a pickup truck near the dumpster with garbage bags in it. I guess the dumpster was full. But the garbage continued to pile up in the pickup and then behind the pickup all week. It wasn't until Thursday that the mess was finally cleaned up. Luckily there was no bear or rats that found that mess before Thursday!
All the problems that I have listed could have been handled with some incite and manpower. I am not sure what is the problem but I hope it becomes resolved.
Like I said at the beginning I will continue to go to Vacation Land Campground hopefully for many years. I just hope some of these minor problems can be addressed.

Had an amazing weekend in the BuckTail cabin! Very roomy & very clean. Maintenance can very fast to help light gas grill which we appreciated. Ben was quick to solve the tv problem that we didn't even know there was! Donna was so friendly & helpful while checking in. Highly recommend! Great campground!

Very nice campground. We stayed in our travel trailer and had a nice site up front by the pool area. Bathrooms are clean. We rented a gulf cart to get around and our dogs loved taking rides

We booked full hookup 50 amp service pull through when we got there we were given lot 62 which wasn’t large enough and only 30 amp service. The 2 wasn’t large enough finally after looking at several other places which were not large enough we were put in a lot that isn’t used for RV’s only to park boats it only had 30 amp service we tried to run the air conditioner but it kept popping the breaker checking the plug noted it had low amp we had to buy (40)dollars a different adapter plug to try the other plug in we could at least run a fan but not air conditioner we were offered 20% off our stay but haven’t seen any change in our bill
