Our cabin was locked when we arrived. We were directed to leave a message at all phone sites. It was a saturday. No camp host available. At last minute found a maintenance man leaving work who got us in. Place is severely understaffed.

Beautiful location. The cabins are very nice for a rustic stay. The bathroom/shower house is well heated and clean. 👍🏼👍🏼

Nice park. The roads leading into the park are a bit steep and rough. And it's confusing on trying to find the park office. We eventually found the host which was very helpful.

The reservation system was somewhat confusing if you're not familiar with the park. There were plenty of sites to fit our 30 foot camper plus our Ram 2500, but didn't show up when we were looking online. We ended up in site 17 which is down a scary narrow road. But the site itself is wide and deep, but has no electricity.

The dump is sited at the end of the one way road. It's basic but functional if not somewhat hard to position your rig to keep from blocking the road and still be able to dump. At least it's slanted the correct way for dumping tanks efficiently.

Road in campground needs to be one way. And its not very wide to even turn the bends

Site #20 is good but power post should be located on opposite end of site.

The campground was difficult to find, we passed it several times and ended up going down the long very sharp curved road to the boat dock, with camper it tow! We scraped bottom of the camper on the last curve getting back out of there. There was no one at the park office and no one would answer the phone. We made one more trip past the park office and saw a car going up a hill between trees, and followed it as a last resort! And found the camp ground. The whole thing could have been corrected if there was and arrow pointing the way, it does not look like an entrance to a campground! It was difficult filling our water tank while sitting up hill. Our site was difficult to back into. We met our host's Peggy and Randy at the water source, thankfully they had a long hose to fill us back up after we lost all our water the first night. We were disappointed we couldn't fish from shore anywhere on the lake as we didn't have a boat. Other than that we liked the campground, the spots are spacious for the most part. Nice shower house with flush toilets. Our host's were very helpful, beautiful area. Also disappointed the road to the top of the dam was closed, to long of a walk for us to enjoy. Also Peggy told us if there is a car at the park office the lady is in there and you have to knock on the door ( she keeps it locked) that also would have been helpful, if there was a sign to knock! It is nice the park has ramps everywhere for handicap access. Nice for peace and quiet, during the week at least.

The staff was professional and courteous - the sight was clean, level with a fire ring and table. The restroom and shower were clean.

The only con was there was no sign indicating the direction to the camping area - only a sign that read "Campsite". With no direction (a left turn at the sign was required), we drove down to the boat ramp - nowhere near the entrance to the campsite - a fisherman knew we overshoot the entrance and directed us to the entrance. A simply painted arrow on the campground sign would be a nice touch.

Clean facilities, plenty of tables and fire pits and tent pads, my only issue was trying to find my campsite in the dark because it was not marked on the road like the rest of the campgrounds (#24). Overall a very nice spot, I would go back if I was in the area!
