What Guests Are Saying
Longleaf Campground offers a clean, spacious, and peaceful environment with well-maintained facilities and friendly staff. Visitors appreciate the short walk to the visitor center for amenities and the charming wildlife experience, including birds and other animals. However, it's important to note that there is no running water at the campground, and some sites may lack privacy due to proximity to others.

I was a bit surprised by the walk from the parking lot to the site. Glad I arrived before dark. Overall, very happy w/ the experience. Wish they had a sink in the bathrooms. Otherwise, a clean, quiet campground.

The campsite was great! Good space between sites. It's a floodplain, so hot and humid conditions are to be expected -- 90+ degrees was a bit warmer than anticipated for late Sept, but it was a good excuse to lay low at the campsite in the evening and stay cool(ish).

Group campsite was great. The space was large and excellent for our group. The vault toliets were clean.

This was a very nice campground - vault toilets were clean and the site was close to a trail that takes you to the visitor center/boardwalk which was very convenient. This particular site was fairly private, spacious, and close to the parking lot. Any further away would have been difficult to lug all of our camping gear to and from the car.

It was such a great experience for first time campers. Easy set up and close to car so you can go back and forth with your gear. Loved it!
