It was enjoyable. Make sure you bring your own water as there is not running water in bathrooms. They cut wood for fire pits which was great. We enjoyed it.

The sites are a bit close but still feel private. Close to a pit toliet and easy to find, very accessible campsites. I loved the views and and the park.

This campground is a short walking distance from the visitor’s center where most of the trails start and where you can get potable water. It’s very pretty and peaceful. I heard pileated woodpeckers, barred owls, and saw a possum at my site.
