Very remote. Google is off...just drive forward. Wi-Fi and mobile towers are not here or close so no internet, wfh, netflix or even cell service. Drove 45 min to get somewhere to work from my laptop. Inconvenient and poor description and pictures of campsites. We won't be back, but it's peaceful if you want an off the grid experience.

Wonderful campground! Enjoyed my stay, except my greeting from the caretaker was not pleasant! He was upset because I was a little early. I told him no one was on the site. He said that I didn’t know that, anything could have happened. I did arrive early; however, I usually do if their is no one on the site, but I also always leave early too! I arrived around 1:00 pm and I left on my departure date at about 11:00 am. Other than my greeting, my stay was pleasant!

This campground is wonderful. The sites are spread out, most are well shaded and all are on the water. The bathhouses are clean. This is by far the best campground I have visited.

Park attendants were very attentive and diligently tried to keep comfort stations, sidewalks and roadways clean and free of debris. A lot of rain during our stay so that required extra work to keep things clean. Roadways were pretty decent but will need attention in the near future near the edges. A comfort station closer to sites 1 - 10 would be beneficial. One comfort station with 2 stalls and 1 shower is not adequate for 25 campsites if all are occupied with families. No sewer hookup at sites so more people utilize restroom and shower. We left a day early due to weather. The last day inconsiderate camper or campers left water running in shower so the floor was soaked when I went in and turned water off. Later that evening after dark, the comfort station door was left propped open so I closed it after making sure no wildlife got in. Early in The morning we left there were huge bugs in the comfort station and a saturated floor so no shower before we left. The attendants did a fantastic job but cannot be on hand 24/7 to clean up after every single person. People need to display consideration and respect. How does one take a shower, dry off, get dressed and leave shower turned on ?? Why would someone leave door propped open and allow wildlife and insects to enter? Our site was quite level, spacious, nice view of the water but not easy access to water to fish off shore at site. We went to dorn fishing facility just down the road and a few other locations in the area to fish

We truly enjoyed camping at Hawe Creek. We camped on site 16...it was a little difficult to get into (37 foot 5th wheel), but once we were in, it was wonderful. The site was very clean, large in size, and right on the water.
