We had an rv site but I will definitely stay there again! We used the showers and restrooms and they were always spotless!! We were there for a week and it was wonderful. Highly recommend

We had a pop-up camper van so we were parked in the tent loop. Carrie, Larry and Heather were very helpful with suggesting a more shaded site when we first called to make reservation, and their customer service and friendliness was superb with changes we made. Bathrooms and showers (all with doors) were very clean. No other camping bathrooms were as clean.
While the location was a bit noisy with being close to the main road; you can't beat the location for getting immediately right on the Mickelson Trail. The office is seconds from the Mick. My husband, and I had our own bikes, others rented e-bikes. The office sold the required pass to be on the Mick.
We will return to this location for our future Mick rides!

We have stayed there now, 2 summers in a row and plan a return in following years.
Our first visit was booked into a cabin, a great setup for a couple wanting a campground experience yet having a cozy bed to fall back into at the end of the day. Cooking is done on an outside grill, and camp fires just off your porch always end the day. The internet is available with great connectivity for any needs to stay in touch with the real world
Our second visit included one of our siblings family as well so we booked the suite- wow, a full size kitchen, dinning area, living area with lots of room in the two bedrooms. A real "top notch hotel" experience at a camp ground in a wonderful part of the world. Of course the campground help remembered us from the first visit, and were there for our every need.
It was good to see this site expanded for more RV parking from our last visit, and expect this location to be a long term go to when ever venturing into the Black Hills

The people who served us were very nice. There is WiFi, not just good toilets and showers, but great ones, a laundry and free coffee during office hours. Those were the pros. Now the cons. It's more like an RV parking lot than a campground. No privacy at all. The location is convenient if you plan to visit Mount Rushmore and stay at this campground for a couple of days, but it is right next to a busy and noisy road. So, I wouldn't choose this campground for a long-term camping trip at all.

Great campground in a stunning area! Close to Mount Rushmore and other family fun activities. The campground was well maintained and we had an incredible spot. The owner came by to say hi when we were hanging outside, which provided a super nice touch! Thank you for having us we will definitely be back if we are in the area again!
