Beautiful setting, pit toilets but pretty clean. No utility sink. Hard to find, no road signage.

We loved exploring Pactola lake!
We wish we had been more aware of the camping spaces and their layout. Our group of 4 families- 3 campers and 2 tents- had chosen sites that were next to each other and assumed they would be normal camping spots. However, we pulled up to parking spaces and each site was 2 of the parking spaces.
I’m grateful we were with friends because there wasn’t much space between each of us. We made the best of it and the spaces back up to a beautiful meadow, we just weren’t anticipating camping on pavement in parking spaces.
The folks that took care of the bathrooms were amazing and kept everything super clean and everyone else was helpful and kind!

Peaceful. Grounds well kept. General store was great. Rented a pontoon boat and the experience was great. All personnel we encountered were very pleasant. Would return again if ever in the area!

Campgrounds were beautiful and our camp host was very nice and knowledgeable. Facilities were kept clean and all of the signage made it easy to get around. We also very much enjoyed the little store! The woman working there was extremely nice and gave all sorts of advice and ideas on what to do in the area with our almost 2 year old.

We arrived after darkness to set up our tent in spot 29 and couldn’t believe the view when we woke up the next morning! The reservoir was vivid through the trees and offered serenity for our three day stay. The campsite was fabulous, and the camp host Gerald was outstanding! He was friendly and accommodating and offered many great local activities and. Sites to visit. The restrooms were cleaned daily and firewood was plentiful. Such a great family getaway!
