About Roubaix Lake

Roubaix Campground is tucked into a grove of Ponderosa pines along its namesake lake. With a popular swim beach and opportunities for non motorized boating and paddling, campsites are dispersed among four loops, and many offer lake views. At an elevation of 5,500 feet, this camp remains comfortable on hot summer days, and sites are spaced far enough apart to offer ample privacy. This popular camp makes a great base for exploring all the activities and attractions at the lake and in the surrounding area.

Roubaix Lake offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with clean facilities, friendly hosts, and spacious sites amidst lovely trees and trails. Many visitors appreciate the tranquility and scenic views, particularly enjoying the nearby lake and wildlife. While there are some concerns regarding the cleanliness of bathrooms and the need for maintenance on picnic tables, the overall atmosphere and helpful camp hosts make it a favorite destination for many campers.

Hi! I would like to say that we had a great time at the campsite! The vault restrooms were clean and the campground as a whole was clean and well organized. I think the only drawback was the lake. Not really a lake but a large pond. Fish seem to be abundant though as we saw many jumping to catch flies and bugs. Nice beach area and plenty of trails.

we have stayed at Roubaix Lake many times. Enjoy the lake and the close proximity to the UTV trails and the paved roads to walk on. Rest rooms are clean and cared for. The new hosts can be fun to visit with sometimes but they can also be pretty strict as far as where parking of trailers and UTVs are allowed at the camp sites.

Beautiful campground. The campground hosts were very helpful, and upbeat! I think that their dedication and hard work really shows. One of the nicest campgrounds we have been to (and we are full time campers).

Wonderful campground area and lake was real close , only gave it 4 stars since our camp spot was not ideal was right in the way of everyone driving by to the lake so a lot of traffic, not a good spot just take precautions when booking in "C" or "D" loop very busy . stayed again 3 weeks later in "A " loop was awesome, great hosts!

Policies & Rules

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
