We picked a spot in the "Rocky" loop, with beautiful views of the lake. The sites aren't very private, but they're very spacious. Very quiet at night.

This is a very nice campground above a beautiful Black Hills Lake with the Sluice
Trail just a short drive away. We’ve stayed here a few times and always enjoyed it.

This campsite was fairly sunny in the middle of the day and afternoon. It’s also a bit on a slope so there wasn’t a great place for the tent. The site is in between 2 roads so the vehicle noise was doubled. The campground it’s self was clean and quiet, we will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful campground in the heart of the Black Hills. Every spot has plenty of tree cover, spaced perfectly for hammocks, and lots of ground to spread out around the fire pit and picnic table. The pit toilets were well kept and the firewood was very affordable. We didn't get to spend any time at the lake this trip but it looked wonderful.

We loved our campsite right by the lake. It was peaceful and calming on the inlet. Wonderful wildlife and a quick jaunt to the beach area for swimming. My kids did attempt to swim from the trail between our site and the lake, but my husband wanted more groomed area for swimming.
