I was thankful to at least have a shower but the cold water made it very hard to enjoy.

Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Crummy campsite layout. All side pull spaces with no privacy. Electric on wrong side of half the spaces.

Site is amazing! But the management of the site is so-so. No maps at check-in, toilet not cleaned for 3 days, only cold water in the showers….

Scenery was great. Shower room could be cleaned a little more. Within walking distance to Visitor center and lodge store which is nice. Great location located right in the Badlands National Park. Would go back and stay at campground. Priced reasonable.

Great camping experience! Easy to park, power and a great restroom! We didn’t know there were any campgrounds like this! Thanks so much for making them available!

We loved the view of the Badlands from this site! We loved the bathrooms and that there was warm water at the outdoor dish washing area as we were car camping and it was really cold. We booked a site that didn’t have a pull in space and since we were sleeping in our car, we didn’t want to do that. We were allowed to switch to an available spot on the app. Awesome! We would return!

I put up a tent here - keep in mind it’s constant wind. Sites are fully exposed and difficult to put spikes in the ground. Amenities were in rough shape. Bring quarters for showers. Better idea is to go through the Badlands and stay at Custer State Park in one of their many campgrounds.
