Cedar Pass Campground offers beautiful scenery and a perfect location for exploring the Badlands, with friendly campground hosts and clean, spacious sites that provide privacy. Guests enjoy excellent stargazing opportunities and convenient access to trails and facilities. However, some reviews mention outdated showers and occasional cleanliness issues in the bathrooms, as well as a lack of shade and privacy between sites. Overall, visitors appreciate the campground's charm and its proximity to the park's attractions.

Bathrooms not kept stocked with tp or soap. Also dryer didn’t work. Otherwise fellow campers were courteous and quiet and mostly air condition units off during quiet time. Visitor center excellent and staff very knowledgeable.

The campground is in great shape. All the facilities were very clean. The hosts, John and Rita, were superb. They stopped by to welcome us and answer any questions. I look forward to returning!

We were in a tent and lucky to have other tenters next door. Otherwise motorhomes and generators can line up on the street parking. Flush toilets and sinks were kept reasonably clean and grateful to have them.

Restroom access was great, and the included picnic table w/ cover made the stay more convenient. The parking spot was a little small however, and both of our cars hit the small wooden logs as they were too low to see in mirrors or windows.

Campground was pretty good, considering it's in the Badlands. Parking/camping spaces should have been a lot bigger. Electric was nice, water & dump station ok. COL only showers.

Unbeatable views from every single site. We tented at the Butte Loop and the campground was incredibly clean overall and some of the quietest nights we’ve experienced. A second bathhouse would be beneficial and the bathrooms and showers could be improved with better maintenance. Other than that, this is an incredible place to spend your time, peaceful, beautiful, and absolutely worth visiting.

It was ok for 1 night kind of spendy for 1 night $47 a night and $20 to get into the part. Not a fan of the set up I did not feel like it was a camping space no privacy what so ever. Not alot of choice to stay in the badlands. I am glad I saw it and it was beautiful.
