We like staying at Cotton wood. It's always clean, and quiet. We love the spots that overlook Lake Yankton. Only thing I dislike is having to make reservations so far in advance. We thought people have to be out of their spot by one oclock, so went down last weekend to out spot and people were still in there at 1;30. Cottonwood is only place we like to stay at. And, forsure have two reservations yet this summer

Always a great place to stay even when the fish aren’t biting. Campsites are clean and well maintained and the best shower houses in the Midwest

Beautiful campsite with big trees. Site 11,10, 9 are on the water and have trees to hang hammocks. Nobody seems to talk about this but the lake has lots of moss and plants practically coming out of the water- through out the entire lake! Shallow lake, which makes it dark and kind of smells bad. It is a beautiful lake to look at but gross to swim in or paddleboard. It is difficult to fish because your line gets caught in the moss and plants. My kids were able to catch a fish from the shore in the morning. Overall clean restrooms, friendly people, not a lot of wind.
