Only problem we had was showers had gotten backed up but someone was there to fix it as soon as possible. Great place to stay will be going there again soon.

Love this campground! Have stayed every year for past several years. Besides the construction right next to park it was an awesome stay! Soon the construction will be done and it will be back to super quiet!
Can’t wait to go back!

We had a great site with the playground at our back door, but we didn't have our gkids with us. The next time we take them, we will remember that site #. Thanks again.

We had an amazing time at Cottonwood Campground. Highly recommend a site next to the water (we were in #1). We launched kayaks directly from our campsite (rocky but manageable) - our kids spent hours kayaking around the calm lake. Perfect spot for newbie kayakers. Gorgeous sunrises, relaxing vibes... wish we were there right now!

Great value. Clean, quiet and pretty. Great site with nice space between sites. We enjoyed a premium lakeside site for 4 nights. We caught some nice fish from our canoe on Lake Yankton including a 4.5 lb bass and a 4 lb walleye. We saw a camper with a 10 lb cat the was caught from shore. Fishing the Missouri River from shore we pulled in several 1 lb northers. This was our 2nd stay and will go again.

Spacious campground, great facilities, fun place to ride a bike, watch birds (lots of Pelicans near the dam), relaxing, chipmunk pals .... more/less another great Corp of Engineers campground!
If you're going through Yankton and have the time .... Ben's Brewing has great beer!
