Harpeth River Bridge Campground is praised for its beautiful, serene environment, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among campers. Many enjoyed the well-maintained grounds and spacious sites, particularly those by the water, ideal for families and fishing. Compared to the last couple that ran the campground...I haven't had a better time with my family camping since it was a come and go as u please place years ago. Very hospitable ppl,and very well guarded. I've been coming to this place since I was in diapers and I'm 42 now..great and friendly place to get away. I look forward to many many years with my granddaughter down there!! Best 22$ dollars I've spent since my wife cought me at the strip club. Thank u cheatham co, and thank u to the ppl that are running the place now.

The campgrounds are very clean and well maintained including the bathrooms/bathhouse. It is well patrolled by park rangers and a sheriff was frequently parked at the bridge/river entrance in the campgrounds. It’s a very safe and peaceful family environment. The hosts were very nice and helpful. There isn’t a lot as far as things to do in the immediate area but it was a perfect long weekend. A big plus was good tv and cell phone reception. We definitely will book again for next season!!! You can’t beat the views and lot sizes.

Excellent campground. Exceptionally clean restrooms and showers. The cleaning crew did an excellent job of making sure the trash cans were emptied each day. However they never once cleaned a campsite. We had enough leaves on our site that could have filled an entire large trash can. There was trash on the campsite also that should have been picked up or swept up. Fire pit was also full of ashes and wood.

Definitely a campground I want to return to, stopped here for one night on our way to Alabama and wished we had booked a longer stay. The campground is small, surrounded by the lake water, very clean probably the cleanest camp I have ever stayed at. The sites are big, paved, and spaced out nicely, The bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious. The dump station was very well kept. The ranger or host who checked us in was so very courteous , welcoming and helpful she made us feel great after a long drive. There's lots of opportunities for fishing, boating, and enjoying the water right on site, I did not see an walking trails on the map, but I was not there long enough to explore. I understand the restaurant nearby is really good but we did not have an opportunity to check it out, hope we can return soon. I have flagged this camp as one of my favorites!

Awesome staff. Clean quiet park. Small and quaint. Cheyenne girl coffee shop in worth a visit for freshly ground and brewed coffee and pastries. STRANGE hours of operation so give them a call beforehand. Riverview restaurant is a must if you like good Southern food. Catfish dinner is off the charts! Weather permitting, you'll want to sit outside and enjoy the open air and river view.
