Harpeth River Bridge Campground (TN)

Great little campground and great plave to kayak. Always clean and the camp host was great!

Cute little campground situated along a river that looks great in the morning but kind of slimy in the afternoon. Overall our experience was good and the price was even better. Only complaint is the absence of any cooling system in the showers. It was very hot and humid during our stay and taking a shower was a challenge with the humidity levels in the shower rooms.

Missed not seeing the campground hosts that have been there for years.

Fantastic infrastructure/services. Beautiful concrete sites. Well maintained landscape. There is some road noise from the bridge but the park is so nice it makes noise tolerable.

Camp hosts are so nice, bathrooms are well maintained, and there is a cute diner right outside the campground. Fun to be so close to the water, but there’s not much to do in the way of activities (there is a playground for kids and you can walk the grounds but it’s quite small). That said, it’s close to Nashville and some nice parks if you don’t mind driving a bit. Would definitely stay again if I was driving through.

Very small COE campground with well spaced sites on river and inlet,

Smaller campsite with about a dozen sites right on the river, quiet and very little traffic. Boat ramp at the site, Ashland City is about ten minutes away for any needs. Traffic crossing the bridge could be heard but wasn’t loud. Only issue was trash pickup didn’t happen. Otherwise great site, will definitely be back.

Always love camping here! It’s small and don’t have the hustle and bustle of a large campground. We go at least twice a year! Beautiful surroundings. Sites are all near the water. Great place to kayak!
