Compared to the last couple that ran the campground...I haven't had a better time with my family camping since it was a come and go as u please place years ago. Very hospitable ppl,and very well guarded. I've been coming to this place since I was in diapers and I'm 42 now..great and friendly place to get away. I look forward to many many years with my granddaughter down there!! Best 22$ dollars I've spent since my wife cought me at the strip club. Thank u cheatham co, and thank u to the ppl that are running the place now.

The campgrounds are very clean and well maintained including the bathrooms/bathhouse. It is well patrolled by park rangers and a sheriff was frequently parked at the bridge/river entrance in the campgrounds. It’s a very safe and peaceful family environment. The hosts were very nice and helpful. There isn’t a lot as far as things to do in the immediate area but it was a perfect long weekend. A big plus was good tv and cell phone reception. We definitely will book again for next season!!! You can’t beat the views and lot sizes.

Excellent campground. Exceptionally clean restrooms and showers. The cleaning crew did an excellent job of making sure the trash cans were emptied each day. However they never once cleaned a campsite. We had enough leaves on our site that could have filled an entire large trash can. There was trash on the campsite also that should have been picked up or swept up. Fire pit was also full of ashes and wood.
