Mom and daughter adventure-newbies to camping. This was our first time out with our travel trailer and we had an issue we were uncertain about. Terry (sp?), married to Candy, who were working onsite Sat/Sun were INCREDIBLY helpful. As we checked in, Candy told ya not to hesitate to call if we had any questions or needs. When we started having some electrical issues in our camper, we decided to call after doing what (limited) things we knew to troubleshoot. After we explained the symptoms, Terry came over and narrowed it down to likely our battery or inverter. He put his battery tester on and found it was reading low, so attached his battery charger. He noted it seemed it was reading as though it was a 6 volt battery. (It was an unlabeled battery and we couldn’t tell) Then he left it charging for an hour for us and returned and told us we needed a 12 volt and this was a 6. I went to WalMart and bought the correct battery and hooked it up and all our issues resolved and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time. He again helped us with a couple awesome suggestions regarding dumping tanks at departure-stuff that experienced campers know. We can not recommend this campground more highly. Our site (#6) was great and easy to back into. Even with rain for pretty much 24 hrs, it was a great time there with the staff and well-kept location. We will be returning here as often as possible.

While the area is pretty, and our site 05 was nice with kids and tents, the area is loud. The sound of the overpass on the highway was annoying and people drive by and honk all night. Also, there’s not a curfew for noise. People kept on partying until about 2am - while I’m glad they were having a good time it was loud. We will not be staying here again.

Restrooms were VERy clean. It was HOT in there though. Same with the showers. Sites were cleaned. The mowers came the 2nd day we were there. The hosts were very nice. It would be cool if you could put up posts for people to hammock as well. New sand in the playground would be awesome too!

Terrific. Concrete sites, water and electric on the river. Great private showers and no rowdies.
