Definitely a campground I want to return to, stopped here for one night on our way to Alabama and wished we had booked a longer stay. The campground is small, surrounded by the lake water, very clean probably the cleanest camp I have ever stayed at. The sites are big, paved, and spaced out nicely, The bathrooms and showers were clean and spacious. The dump station was very well kept. The ranger or host who checked us in was so very courteous , welcoming and helpful she made us feel great after a long drive. There's lots of opportunities for fishing, boating, and enjoying the water right on site, I did not see an walking trails on the map, but I was not there long enough to explore. I understand the restaurant nearby is really good but we did not have an opportunity to check it out, hope we can return soon. I have flagged this camp as one of my favorites!

Awesome staff. Clean quiet park. Small and quaint. Cheyenne girl coffee shop in worth a visit for freshly ground and brewed coffee and pastries. STRANGE hours of operation so give them a call beforehand. Riverview restaurant is a must if you like good Southern food. Catfish dinner is off the charts! Weather permitting, you'll want to sit outside and enjoy the open air and river view.

Everything was great at the Camp site/Grounds. The only downside was the noise from traffic on the bridge.
