This is a nice quiet campground that's great for just rest and relaxation! There's not a lot to do in the immediate area and we knew that when we booked it. It's a smaller campground not far from Ashland City, TN. There are restaurants and some shopping in Ashland City.

Very nice campgrounds and the couple that oversees the campground are very friendly.
Baths and showers could use some upgrades. Better exhaust and vents.

Amazing view right on the river. Small campground and very quiet. Host couldn’t be nicer. Our spot 14 was a shared driveway but no issues and plenty of space. We will stay here again. Water and electric. No dump.

The Harpeth River campground will always be one of our favorite campgrounds. The scenery is beautiful and it's a wonderful place to kayak. It's small and quite through the week. Weekends can be a little lively with more children playing on the playground and riding their bikes but our Grandchildren really enjoy it. There is a bridge that crosses the Harpeth River and if you are on entrance end of the campground, closest to the boat dock, you can hear the bridge traffic. The sites on that end also get a lot of sun from noon until the evening hours but it seems most people are off exploring the Nashville areas during those hours. The restrooms and shower facilities have recently been redone and look spotless. Never have we met nicer hosts and they make you feel so very welcome.

We arrived in the dark to stay overnight during our Georgia to Illinois trip. Only about a dozen sites, but all were waterfront and had a concrete slab to park on with a picnic table and garbage can. Very clean bathrooms with private entry shower stalls. We were wishing we had more time to spend there!
