What Guests Are Saying
Lock A campground is well-maintained and offers beautiful river views, spacious sites, and friendly hosts, making it an enjoyable place for camping. Visitors appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities, good connectivity, and access to water activities like kayaking. While the narrow and steep road to the campground and some dated bathroom facilities were mentioned as drawbacks, overall experiences were positive, with many guests eager to return.

The shower house needs attention this is the second season there’s no hot water in the women’s shower, it’s absolutely filthy we come home because we live close but It’s terrible to pay money and be traveling with 3rd world facilities

My time at Lock A site 4 was excellent. The weather and fall colors were perfect. The site was clean and staff very friendly. A little walk to the restroom for those of us camping in trailer without a facility. Hiking routes were well marked and groomed. Many fishing spots. Will visit again.

Beautiful space, lovely sites.
However, disappointed with women’s shower. Moldy, dirty, leaky pipes dripped water all over my clean dry things😩

Always love Lock A! Very quiet, well kept campground. Everyone from the host to the contractors maintaining the grounds are super nice. It’s cool watching the barges go by. We were in Site 16 in a 36’ fifth wheel. The site was plenty big and can handle a much larger RV
