Stayed for one week at Site 56. Everything was great except we were held prisoners at night in the camper by the skunks. After 8:00 they came out in droves and explored until daylight the next morning. 🦨🦨🦨

Nice to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of the land! Had a few rain showers which created some wonderful rainbows across the lake.

Site 95 was super easy to get in to and what a view! We could only book it for 1 night and then moved in the morning to site 10 which was also super easy to get in to. The sunsets from site 10 were wonderful. No sewer but not a big deal to us because we know when we boondock off the grid out West we can go 21 days before needing a dump station. We have huge tankage on our Arctic Fox 27-5L 5th wheel. No bugs. Amazingly quiet park even though pretty full. The little park walkway is great as is the hiking trail and the bike trail. Showers are very clean though we never used them .

The old saying "looks can be deceiving" perfectly describes this campsite. When we first pulled in, it looked like it would be a tight fit with very little space between neighboring campers. Once we got parked, though, we realized the layout is actually excellent. The site opens up to a surprisingly spacious grassy area, giving us plenty of room to spread out and relax.
If staying connected is important to you, be prepared for very limited cell service. We were able to make calls and send texts, but data service was essentially nonexistent. On the bright side, we picked up 13 over-the-air TV channels, although only two came in reliably.
Normally, I would deduct a star for the lack of data service, but the full hookups more than made up for it. The easy access to the water was another big plus—we had no trouble launching and retrieving our kayaks.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book this site again.
