This is one of the best COE campgrounds we’ve ever visited. The grounds are well maintained and the views are beautiful. Most of the sites are very spacious. There is an issue with skunks, but they are working on that. Keep your garbage out of reach.

Defeated Creek is our favorite place to camp! It’s clean - larger sites - and safe for our family

This is a spectacular COE park. Everything is clean and manicured. The attendants are always pleasant and helpful. The park is exceptionally quiet and deer everywhere. The ONLY downside is that the water source at the dump station lacks a way to hook up a hose to attach to the black tank flush outlet on the newer motorhomes. W/E sites are some of the best at the park, but lacking a way to do a thorough black tank flush is a downside.

First the good… clean bathrooms. Other than that, my experience was meh. 🫤. There was raccoon, skunk and dog feces everywhere. The skunks were walking around day and night. Sites were very close to each other so your neighbors can see and hear everything! The water was dirty and gross. No activities to speak of. Too much light pollution to stargaze. Just not good.

We have stayed at many COE facilities and this is by far the absolute best facility we have been able to find. We will be sure to include at least a week stay every time we pass through the area. Excellent

This site almost has it all. It’s a full hookup site right across from the bathrooms with a great water view. The beach is an easy walk using the “ path” right behind. The only problem you might encounter is there is no shade on this site. Make sure you bring something to provide your own shade We will definitely come back next season.

Very nice campground the only issue that we had was we arrive late and we couldn’t find the keypad to open the gate. It took us a while to find it. It was in the bushes.
