Our dates were mixed up. We booked 8-19 through 8-23 but we were given 8-5 through 8-9. We didn't catch the mix up until 8-9 and trying to contact anyone was impossible!! Spent 40 min waiting to talk with someone before giving up. Watch your dates when booking!! Still my favorite park, just very disappointed.

Our site was right on the waters edge. Nice quite clean campground. Beautiful views. Highly recommend.

The park has been inundated with skunks. After dark one has to be very careful to keep from getting sprayed or bitten. Also because of very poor cell service due to the remote location, I would like to see the Corp make wifi available across the park. I think park users would be willing to pay for it in use fees. Defeated Creek is still our favorite place to camp - we went there a lot with our kids growing up and now looking forward to taking our grand children!

Defeated Creek campground is 5 star. My wife and I go every year for her birthday. I rated a 4 star because our campsite #63, although a premium site, had no shade in pm hours until sun set beyond horizon.

I would love to see all sites upgraded to 30 or 50 options

People cleaning sites are not doing good job. We had to pick up trash & small limbs on our site

This park is my favorite in middle Tennessee. The grounds are well groomed with lots of lake views. I have camped in #25 and #105. There is a healthy deer population with lots of fawns. Be prepared to have visits by skunks. They are bold and many. For this reason, I would not recommend tent camping. Our neighbor's dog got sprayed.

Defeated Creek is gorgeous. It was very clean and quiet. We didn't have the best weather, but it was still a great weekend.
