About Defeated Creek Park

Defeated Creek Park Campground sits along the banks of Cordell Hull Lake on the Cumberland River System, just seven miles from Carthage, Tennessee. The lake was named after Cordell Hull, a politician that was born in the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains. I need internet to be able to work while I am at the campground. The internet was almost nonexistent while I was there. It will unfortunately affect my future plans to camp there. The staff and campsites were very good and I enjoyed my trip, but the internet is unacceptable.

We rally like the campground It is always clean and well kept, however on our recent stay we were in a campsite that had no Wi-Fi or phone service. In order to get Wi-Fi, I would have to go to the bath house just to stay in touch with the out side world.
