We missed out for n being able to fish with the kids . We usually fish in the trail creek. It was closed due to storm damage. The bathroom close to our sight was closed for a day and a half. Mostly inconveniences. It is a beautiful place.

The view of the broken fence and orange construction webbing (that was also dilapidated) was not my idea of beautiful scenery... The trees had all been cut down, for some reason... maybe the reason for the broken and downed fence. I didn't mind the view of the fish hatchery on the other side of the fence, but the fence definitely soured our first visit. The bathhouse was in need of cleaning. The spider webs and cracked flooring and walls were not appealing. On a positive note, we had plenty of space at our site and the camp hosts were absolutely amazing!

No WiFi is irresponsible and inexcusable. There were severe storms while there and could not connect to any weather service. We were told cell service was poor, which should have underscored the urgent need for WiFi. Considering the trauma caused by this experience, confirming WiFi will be a requirement with future stays.

We had a wonderful stay as always. We love this campground because of the very large sites and the privacy it creates. The bath houses are in decent shape and clean. There are plenty of trees for shade and we absolutely love the walking and biking trail. I really wish they would do something about the fishing piers though. A couple of them are dilapidated and are in need of serious maintenance and repair. They are actually dangerous to access and be on.

We had a wonderful time at Dale Hollow Damsite in May ‘24. The campground was surrounded by beautiful, rolling Hills and abundant opportunities for water events. Don’t miss the drives in the country or visiting the damn - the scenery is spectacular. Another great thing about this campground is the town of Celina it’s not far away for any of those items you forgot. A+
