This campground is one of our favorites in Middle TN. It is clean, friendly and not too far from home. We always make new friends and meet old friends from the years of camping here.
They have finally gotten some WiFi available, but it doesn’t reach the whole campground…yet. But it is better than when we used to have to go up to the Dam to get cell service.
Parts of it are beginning to look a little run-down though - especially the bridge that crosses the waterway coming out of the fish hatchery. It would be really nice to see that upgraded.
One other complaint that I have is that they are spraying a dangerous herbicide (generic Round-Up/glyphosate) on ALL the campsites after a camper vacates the site. This poison is KNOWN FOR CAUSING CANCER and I strongly object to it being used on the ground that my dog walks over and lays on and chews on his toys that have been on the ground. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP USING THIS DEADLY CHEMICAL IN OUR CAMPGROUND.

It’s a great campground but I wish it had better wi-fi I would be glad to pay extra to have it.
