Cosby Campground is absolutely beautiful! Quiet. We tent camped, tent pads are large and sites are very spacious. Park rangers were super nice and very helpful. There is a few trails by the campground. We did the Gabes Mountain Trail to a beautiful waterfall. Gatlinburg is about 30 minutes away as well as Cades Cove. Went to Newport, TN for supplies which is also about 30 mins away. There is no cell service except at the entrance road to the campground. We definitely recommend this campground. We will definitely stay here again!

Love it here. Very close to Gatlinburg and the roads aren’t difficult to drive if you have no experience driving up mountain roads.

it would have been better if a nearby campsite didn't have a huge party with tons of people. or someone enforced the quiet hours. besides that it was nice

Bathrooms were rough (I stayed at Balsam as well in this trip and there were so much nicer!). Sites were a bit close with no privacy. Garbage was left in my fire pit. The campground location is so-so for the park and it was nice that the Rv's and trailers did not block the road (like at Balsam).

Cosby Campground is conveniently located for hiking in GSMNP! Facilities were clean, site neighbors were courteous, and the trails leaving from the campground are amazing! Highly recommend hiking to Mount Cammerer if you're up for a challenge!

It suck we should have been warned that they were doing construction and heavy machinery. At our campsite, and because the grand baby is handicapped. We can't just pick up and move. We should have been warned that this was going to happen. So we could have chosen another site. Terrible

Oasis hidden within the trees! Perfect spot foe tents. Rained the entire time we were there but we did not flood nor have a mud mess. Tent pads flat! Bathrooms clean. Beautiful river to adventure in. Park rangers very knowledgeable! No showers but the nice lady down the road at the next camp will get you one for $6.
