Campground was very quiet and not very full. The sites are small but we were there in July and there were only a few other campers. There is a sink for dishes which is nice. The bathrooms were clean. There aren't showers but the bathroom sinks are deep enough to clean up well. Hen Wallow falls trail can be accessed in the campground and leads to a beautiful falls! Most people frequenting NPs probably know this but there is no cell reception or wifi-- which we love. Thanks for a great stay Cosby!

I would have given the rating 5 stars except there were some rude, noisy people in the campground. You couldn't have helped that. One campsite ran a very noisy generator for HOURS. Sounded like one of those 1930's tractors you sometimes see on display at the county fair. Ugh. Directly across from our campsite was a gentleman who preferred to listed to his music too loudly rather than enjoy the sounds of the campground, birds, etc. (When the generator wasn't running)
Cosby Campground is our go-to camping destination. Love it!

This is a very nice rustic campground. The tent pad was flat and smooth, and the site was spacious and shaded. One evening a thunderstorm came through as we were about to sit down to supper, so we went to the pavilion in the nearby picnic area outside the campground to eat. We were told it rains a lot in the park, but when it was dry it was lovely.

Pretty campground, and much less busy than Elkmont. It isn't very private though, the campsites are very much in sight of each other. It's very accessible however, good toilets, etc. Great for a short stop or if you like bustling campgrounds. (For context, we are fans of dispersed primitive camping!)

We tent at the campground. It was alright, but the walk in the trails to the waterfall it was worth the walk and it was amazing! I would come back and stay at this campground. Bathrooms were nice and clean.
