Very peaceful and serene. All sites are crushed gravel, some are very long, most are somewhat level. Plenty of waterfront sites with water and electric. The sites in the wood section are all very shaded. Only drawback is cell coverage. We have AT&T and it's non-existant for several miles around. But you don't hear any highway or traffic noise. Just some boats and occasional aircraft.

We have been there twice. Both times had great sites to set up at. Sites were level and clean. Biggest problem is lack of cell phone service and we need that to keep up with 90+ yr. old parents still living alone. Other problem was the lack of tv reception. Only 4 channels.

What a wonderful place to camp. The ease of parking, the cleanliness of the entire campground and the friendliness of the camp hosts, from the moment we reached the entrance were all perfect. We have already reserved our next camping trip to Salt Lick Creek. If I had to post something negative, we almost dropped a back tire off the pavement as we navigated around a curve just after leaving the gated area on our way out. With a full size Dually and a 34' camper, we were a bit on the long side.
