What Guests Are Saying

Abram's Creek Campground offers a beautiful, quiet location along a creek, ideal for families and nature lovers. The campground is well-maintained with clean facilities, and many sites provide immediate access to hiking trails. However, access can be challenging due to a rough road, and some visitors noted issues with noise and cleanliness in shared areas. Overall, it's a charming spot worth visiting again.

We love this little campground becuase it's remote and quiet. Getting into and out of the campground can feel a bit treacherous if you don't have 4-wheel drive, though. Watch out for the potholes on that steep slope.

This campground is a gem, can't wait to go back. Bathrooms aren't great but for the location, it's a bit to be expected and worth it. It's best to have one car per site, parking is a bit tight but doable if more or to put further down the road.

The intimate scale of the campground makes it a gentle, friendly place by day and very quiet place by night. Birdsong is abundant throughout the day from the tall stands of trees over the creek, and the drumming of pileated woodpecker is everywhere. Immediate access to the trail to Abrams Falls is a big plus. Great campground!

We had a great time camping here! It’s a smaller site which makes it nice and peaceful. The facilities/restrooms were clean, there was a water fountain, place to wash dishes, and a bear proof place to store food. Beautiful creek and hikes nearby. We camped with my one year old and felt very safe.

The road to get to the campground is in horrible shape. I thought the parking fees were going to fix this issue. All of the garbage cans were completely full of trash too

The campground is secluded and beautiful, but it is down a windy, one-lane road which can be very difficult to manage if more than one vehicle attempts to navigate the road at once. The site I was originally supposed to be in had very low hanging branches that would have scraped and hit any vehicle parked in the spot, so I booked the next site over and it was great.

Well-maintained and beautiful campground. Nearby trails are easily accessible and great for a quick out-and-back or a day hike loop around.
