we actually booked this campsite so we had a place to sleep after a concert in Nashville! it was the perfect option! the campground was so quiet and well taken care of. trees to hammock. clean bathrooms and showers. the hosts were friendly. and the sites were really spacious! decent AT&T service. if you have the Access Pass, it’s $16/night. we will absolutely return if ever in the area.

Seven Points Campground on Percy Priest Lake is easily one of the best camping spots in the area. The campsites are spacious, well-spaced, and offer incredible lake views with plenty of shade.
The standout feature here is how immaculate the facility is kept—the bathhouses and restrooms are clean and well-maintained throughout the entire stay. Access to the water for swimming, kayaking, or launching a boat is seamless, and the peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere makes it a perfect weekend getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier lakeside camping experience!

I stayed at 7 Points for four nights, and I wished I’d stayed longer. The lake was great—the last two TVA lakes I camped at were so full of algae I didn’t want to go in. This lake was clean. I spent a lot of time on my paddleboard in the evening, when the waters were calmer. The park was quite busy, but not noisy. My camp site wasn’t right on the water, but I could walk to the shoreline in just a couple minutes. It was all clean and well-tended.
Nashville was close enough to visit for sightseeing. The Opry Mills mall was a good air-conditioned escape on the really hot days, and there is a Camping World right by the mall. If I’m in the area again, I’ll stay at 7 Points again.

Getting There
From downtown Nashville, TN, take I-40 east for 7 mi and to exit 221B. Turn right onto Old Hickory Boulevard, then left on Bell Road, right on New Hope Road and left on Stewarts Ferry Pike. Follow the signs to the campground.

Seven Points campground is accessible via I-40, approximately 7 miles from downtown Nashville. The campground can be reached by taking exit 221B and following local roads.
