The campground is very nice. It’s clean and well maintained. We reserved site 41 on the lake. We were tent camping and the site layout is more for rv’s. The table was on a concrete pad so we couldn’t stake our canopy down so we had to use weights. The wind got up while we were in Nashville and blew it down. It was a little difficult finding a level place to pitch our tent, but we found a spot. Our 50’ extension cord wouldn’t reach from the tent to the electrical outlet. We had to leave a day early due to the weather getting worse.
Although the camp ground itself is quiet, the Nashville airport is part of the background noise. There was a party across the lake on Friday night so we could hear the bass for a few hours.
The restrooms were clean and in working order. Awesome hot showers as well! The campground hosts were friendly and helpful.
For an inexpensive place to stay near Nashville, Seven Points is nice. I would not choose it as a destination in itself though.
