Woke up to no water.
Showered with some unhoused folks in the park showers.
We accepted the challenge and back our camper into a lakefront site.
After 12hr on the car with 3 teenagers, 4 dogs and a cat, none of this bothered us!
In all sincerity, we can’t wait to return. Beautiful, clean, huge sites!

The view was beautiful even though we were across the street from the lake.

We were not expecting a campsite that was so perfectly designed. The concrete pad, long driveway, lake view, concrete table & benches right on the lake! A nice little beach to enjoy the water and a boat launch. What more can anyone expect from a campsite? And the price was very fair. All around, it was the perfect little getaway for a couple days with our travel trailer. The only downside was the public restrooms and showers - but they were as expected at a state/federal campground in the summer - hot & buggy. :)

This was our first time at this campground and we will definitely be back. There is lots of shade and is very quiet. I love that the sites are spread out and not close to one another. The campground is close enough to Nashville. Check out the Nashville Farmers Market.

Camp hosts were awesome! We had engine trouble with our truck after we arrived. When we returned to the campground later on the evening of July 7th the check in shack was closed but because the hosts were so nice when we checked in earlier that evening I felt comfortable knocking on their RV door to ask some questions. They were very accommodating and gracious calling a friend who recommended a local dealer to go to the next morning to get our truck looked at! The host couple went above and beyond to help us snd we are so grateful for their help!

We loved site 33. Lots of space, including a long driveway, and along a great section of the lake where we were able to easily wade into the water. Very peaceful campground with a gate to deter non-camper traffic overnight. They opened the gate for our Uber so we didn’t have to walk all the way back to our site.
