Wanted to love it, and seems like it should be wonderful, but wasn't our favorite. The sites sit right next to the lake so it's pretty and nice to watch all kinds of birds coming/going. Access is pretty easy, and location is good. Unfortunately, our site smelled of rotting fish. Not sure if the large birds were leaving fish parts on the shore or if another camper was cleaning their fish near the campsites, but was definitely a deterrent. Rangers/hosts were nice. Parking was easy.

Cool spot, tricky tent placement if you need to stake (12x12 tent barely fit), but all in all good spot to see everybody entering the campground🙃

The Park is the nicest one we have stayed in in over 55 years of camping. Both on and off the lake the sites are way above average. We have our own bathroom so didn’t need to use the campground facility. I did notice they were dated but they were clean. Staff was very nice

the grounds were beautiful and very clean. The managers were very nice and very helpful. One employee even came down to help me set my camp.

Our site #54 was very nice. Lots of shade and space for our tent. The only thing is that for a tent camper, the bathhouse was too far away to hike, all uphill, so going to the restroom was a challange.. Also, this site was close to the road, just FYI . Awesome neighbors, perfect weather and the eagles nest sighting was a nice surprise
