Very kind and friendly staff the only thing I might would critique is the campers beside us left a lot of floats and bedding behind due to the storms that was rolling in and it was left on the site for the next two days … otherwise our experience was great there live the lake and all it offered 😃

Very quiet and secluded. A lot of things to go see and do fairly close.

Loved this campground for summer time camping. Plenty of shade and the grounds are kept clean.

As soon as we arrived and pulled up to the host booth I started to check in and the first think the lady host said to me was "I can see your going to be a problem, I have a problem with you already". Then as soon as we started setting up camp we took out dogs out of our vehicle and she drove up to our site as fast as she could and she said" you know your supposed to have those dogs on a leash not even giving us time to get the dogs out of their encloser in the car. She is very dramatic and likes to be bossy. Not someone that everyone wants to deal with when they want ro have a relaxing time camping. We will not be back.

We did think that it was beautiful. Very woodsy and green lots of foliage and shade. Our campsite was decent enough for a tent. We were in campsite 26. The only bad thing that happened is that the day we left we started breaking out in what we now know is poison ivy. we had no idea there was any in the area. So it would’ve been nice if they mentioned it on the website somewhere or when we checked in that there is poison ivy around.

This site #28 is a nice always in the shade spot. A few things you need to know. The landing is sloped downward, not hard to get RV level, just need leveling blocks. I suggest you have a 4x4 truck or at least a locking rear differential to get up the hill if it rains. I would not reserve this spot if you are new to RV ing, other wise camp host and workers are nice and friendly.

This is a lovely wooded campground with spacious sites. The one note is that bathrooms are a 5-10 minute uphill walk from sites along the lake. Will definitely stay here again.

What a great park south of Nashville. We had a premium site with a concrete pad that was level. Our view of the lake was amazing. We absolutely loved the park hosts. A couple originally from Alaska was more than helpful. We enjoyed how much information they had about the park and the surrounding area. We would love to go back someday to explore and enjoy more of the park.

Nice, relaxing campground! We love the lake sites! Wish there were paths up to the bath houses! TWRA could have the lake out in front of the Poole Knobs boat landing better marked for the rock that makes the water so shallow & for the cove there being a ‘no wake’ area!!!!
