Bandy Creek has spacious camping sites with privacy in between sites. Many sites face the woods. The bathhouses are very nice and well kept. The water bottle filling stations at the bathhouses are nice to have.
My children did not like that the pool was only open on the weekend and closed at 6pm.
The Twin Arches trail and O&W railroad drive were our favorites.

Everything was so well-kept! The campsites are spaced perfectly. Easy access to bathhouses. And most importantly, it’s close to the river.

This was my Google review:
"Love the park and it was great until we had others camping in our group area. I went to the visitors info area and ask them about it. It seems it was a trail cleanup weekend for bicycle enthusiast. Free camping in exchange for trail clean up. When they were coming in they were telling them to camp anywhere in "e" section. E-section is pretty big and our group area was part of "E" section. Pretty ticked off that I spent $400 so our group could have a private group camp but instead got invaded by complete strangers.
One of the perks of having a group camp is having the restroom facilities all to ourselves. That didn't happen, every time we turn around our ladies room was completely trashed. Of course every time we cleaned it up. We had trucks flying through our camping area like it was a raceway. One even told me b**** get out of the road as I was walking to the pavilion.
When I reserved the group camp 5 months prior they told me if I ended up not having the 50 people that I could call and get a refund if it was minimum 2 weeks prior to our date. Call to get a refund 3 weeks prior they said no sorry. I think it is pretty bad that they were telling others to camp in an area that they couldn't give me a refund for. The area I paid $400 bucks for. Yes I complained at the information desk as well as spoke with the camp host about it. I will never again stay at the group site."

Very clean, well kept in all regards. Fairly spacious sites, most are very level. Not intended for the biggest of rigs; beware that US297 coming in from Oneida involves several 10 mph switchback curves and big rigs get hung up often. Come in from the west if your rig is long. Beautiful area around the campground. We will return. Be aware that there is only 1 dump station.

We have been camping here since at least the early 1980s. This year was the first year we have had a fifth wheel camper and not a tent (others in our group are still tent camping.) It has always been one of our favorite campgrounds. Sites are great for tents as they are almost all level. The site we had was a bit tight getting in and out but it was great, offering privacy and ample room for our group to gather. The campground and bathhouses are well maintained and clean. All personnel with whom we interacted were friendly and helpful. It was an extra bonus to have been there during the Spring Planting Days Festival. It was well organized and educational and not too crowded like the city festivals are. They could have used another food truck or 2 however as the lines for the only food one (other was kettle corn) were very long. Since this was our first time needing a dump station, we discovered that the signage to find it and direction to enter could be more prominent. The space is tight for a big rig. The field across the street from the campground is great for star gazing. The area is geared toward horseback riding so there are nearby stables and trails, as well as hiking trails and put-in spots on the nearby river for kayaking/canoeing. I have no doubt we will return in the future.
